Why does somebody need more then 40k a month for doing nothing?

Most of the people who complain about "not having any money" just spend it too quickly. Learn to have a budget. Set prioritized goals (ie, save for elite armor you want first, then party points, then lockpicks, then sweet tooth points, etc). It will help you a ton (even in the real world

).

Here are 2 reasons Zkeys are going down in price...
1) Monthlies, people having 3-4-5+ accounts getting 20zkeys on each, then amassing stacks of zkeys for doing..? Nothing.
2) One of the biggest drives for Zkeys/Zchest is Everlasting Tonics, and everyone wants the new one... but the tonics are on a cycle, and how long has it been since the Everlastings came out?

Perfect advise for the real world. But not for an online fantasy game. I mean really its a fantasy world right? Anyway, the problem does exist evidenced by third party sale of ingame gold for real life money. Its a problem Anet wants to address and Zkeys is solution if the Zkey prices are at a decent level.

would be nice if you recieved a weapon and a consumable. that would boost up the value of zkeys by quite a bit. So keep the drop rate the same but you get 2 items instead of 1 and dont get screwed on the crap consumables only.

They already do. If you mean have them drop more frequently, you won't be increasing the price of z-keys, you'll be decreasing the cost of those items. It costs you nothing, and provides you with a large amount of money. If you don't like free stuff don't use the tournament predictions. If you do like free stuff, what is wrong?

zkeys were always overinflated. Now they are coming into a reasonable range. And they do fluctuate, depending on time of the month and what the next tonic is going to be. I don't see a problem.

yah zkeys are fine...i mean i wouldnt mind having them at 5k each but its free money anyways...ill take what i can get and you should too...dont get all greedy and stuff...too late i guess........i wouldnt mind having gamer increase balth fact though

The Z-chest drops inscribable versions of all non-unique weapons in the game first of all if I'm not mistaken...and you are incredibly fortunate to get any money at all for free a month. Nothing good ever comes of manipulating economies.

although some people might think this is funny. Budgeting is actually helpful in rl, and in GW. I wanted to get 15k charr armor for my warrior, and I was very far from my goal. But resisting temptation to buy a few sweet weapons and other things I managed to get it.

but back on topic.
I like fact that it would raise the cap on Balthazar faction. That only makes sense considering you can use balthazar faction to get them. But increase the drop rate of high-end weapons, I don't like. I prefer to keep a short limited supply on high-end items, so this way the market doesn't over flood with them and then their prices go down. [I'm looking at you dead swords.]

XTH is a mistake... first of all it introduces a tonne of money into the economy each month. Secondly its causing QQ problems on forums when they make a mistake and thirdly... its ruining the economy. (Said it twice coz its twice as important). Economy is dead, yes. No reason to kick the dead horse.

Just another QQ thread about how some greedy punk is having his profit margine cut into on his multiple accounts. Few things ever fall out of the chest to make the keys worth 5k to begin with. 5k creme brulee and white tomes. Whatever. So stop being a whiny b*tch and enjoy whatever FREE cash you get and dont have to actually work for. No one feels sorry for you or those like you. On this alone you shouldve had your thread closed.

However,

/Signed for the idea to raise balth faction cap per rank in Z
/Signed for the idea that the max rank is pretty rediculous and should be lowered to make it achievable.

But as for high end items falling from the chest...this already happens. Its where I got my Eternal Blade. No need to increase the drop rate for these items because they eventually will plummet like Elemental Swords if given enough time. So /Not Signed.

I think they will go back up in value when a new tonic is introduced... Well, probably not. If they want to keep the value of the keys stable they should incorporate all weapon skins into the chest. It might be a step too far, but dare I say they should even give the chest a chance to give you a random piece armor? Would be fun to get a piece of a set of armor, and I'd probably start using my keys instead of selling them.

I do think they should lower the title requirements, 20000 keys?! Was somebody drunk while deciding this?

I have to say no to it increasing Balthazar faction cap, since most people don't even PvP to get their keys it seems.

ALL weapon skins DO have a chance to fall from the chest.
